To be honest, I was afraid to touch the twig. But curiosity got the better of me. I pulled it out carefully, and the paper almost fell apart in my hands. The smell of burnt juniper was strong, as if everything had been done very recently.
I was restless all day. In the evening I decided to look for information – I had to find out what the hell this was. I came across a forum where people shared strange objects left in their cars. I uploaded a photo and almost immediately received answers.
And the truth surprised me more than anything I had imagined.
It turns out that the burnt pine branch is not a threat, but a symbol. An old, folk sign of protection. Used as a ritual against negative energy, evil intentions, and curses — someone literally left this on my doorstep to protect me, not scare me.
I admit it shook me. I expected to find something sinister, but I learned that it was actually a gesture of care. The strangest thing is that to this day I don’t know who made it or why they left it on my car.
