Roasted Dandelion Root Tea (Nature’s Coffee Without Caffeine)

If using pre-roasted dried root:

  1. Bring 2 cups of water to a boil.

  2. Add the roasted dandelion root.

  3. Reduce heat and let simmer for 10–15 minutes.

  4. Strain into a mug.

  5. Add optional spices, milk, or sweetener if desired.

If starting from fresh dandelion root:

  1. Wash roots thoroughly and chop into small pieces.

  2. Spread on a baking sheet and roast at 375°F (190°C) for 25–35 minutes until dark brown and fragrant.

  3. Let cool, then store in a jar.

  4. Use as directed above.
